Light the Path Home Candlelight Ceremony (Wherever you are in the world!)

Light the path home is a candlelight commemoration and goodwill event design to unite the Diaspora, Africans, and those who support reunification and a symbolic demonstration of hope faith, and love! Lighting the path from the Americas to Africa can help heal the pain and separation wrought by the Forced passing of millions through the ‘doors of no return’. Our hope is that there will be lights on those very Shores and at those very doors in the evening of June 19 to spiritually cap off Juneteenth celebrations. Light the path home from dusk on Juneteenth until the jubilant light of the next free day from wherever you are in the world. This is a ‘Beyond Year of Return’ Initiative that everyone can participate in, and share with brothers and sisters all over the world, please join in! Light a candle in the evening on Juneteenth and let it shine through the night into the jubilant light of freedom! Host a candlelight event in the evening on Juneteenth at or after dusk or sunset. Keep a guiding light burning from dusk until dawn; it does not have to be a real candle or even a candle at all! Help us spread the word, the more lights the better!
